Tumblr-ing…

oh yeah! I am Tumblr-ing again. It’s been a while, really. My tumblarity had gone zero. But I couldn’t care less about that :swirl:

Anyway, I was back-reading some posts and I was struck by this:

“Well how about this way. I love that you get cold when it’s seventy one degrees out, I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich, I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts, I love that after I spend a day with you I can still smell your perfume on my clothes and I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Years Eve. I came here tonight because when you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of the life to start as soon as possible.” —When Harry Met Sally (1989)

When Harry Met Sally

When Harry Met Sally

I’ve seen When Harry Met Sally last week. Yes, it’s a romantic comedy, and I love it. Romantic comedies are adorable. One scene you’ll laugh, then others will make you cry, and you’ll laugh again. And if lucky enough, you’ll realize that the movie is your story. Yeah, maybe someone was following you the whole time and then *poof* they made a movie out of your ordinary life. Ha ha ha! It can be true, you know. *Dream on!*

Actually, I only downloaded this movie because of that last line of the quote. I was fascinated. I think, that line is really true because it’s like love in a nutshell   That when you already found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you truly don’t want to let go… And it’s funny because I have waited for that line the whole time, only to find out that it was only uttered at the last part. Oh man! Save-the-best-for-last was highly justified.

Ha ha ha! La-love much? :P Thanks to the one behind this for the share. Well, you can always follow that account, or mine, too :D

Also, in case you haven’t noticed, I now have a formspring account and I’ve put the widget on my sidebar already :)) Feel free to ask me anything. I am sure to answer. Count on that.

I love When Harry Met Sally! I downloaded it a few months back because I saw it was one of the top romantic comedies and it could have been the start of the series of romcoms plus I do love Meg Ryan (wait, it was Meg Ryan right?) and Billy Crystal! hehee. I agree now that it’s one of the best! Grabe nakaka <3 pero parang naiinis ka sa 2 as the movie goes on because they can't accept that they'll be together. I love it still!! :D hehe

I have yet to see this movie. So many people have raved about it, and now you, so I suppose I should sit down and watch it. But Billy Crystal just doesn’t seem the romantic comedy type, so I’m hesitant, lol.

  23. #23 by Shola on December 15, 2009 - 8:18 am

I’m glad you was moved. (: it wasn’t my intention, I don’t believe I was thinking when I wrote than post but I got a lot a positive feedback so I can’t complain. I don’t think I can claim credit though, it was more my emotions speaking… *NERVOUS LOL*

I like your interpretations. Everyone wears masks. Some are beautiful, some are fugly, most deceiving but all serve a purpose.

  24. #24 by Hilde on December 16, 2009 - 2:43 am

That quote is sweet! I have never seen that movie, it also seems kinda old, hhaa. but I love romantic comedies, such as The Holiday, Love Actually and even Bridget Jones haha.

Haha yeah 9 months is pretty long. I could have a baby lol. No I’m very glad I do not have a baby yet, I’m only 15!
No I know I’m not obliged to write a blog, but it’s like a dairy to me lol. Although I sometimes don’t want to write because I’m lazy. That’s why I don’t have a real dairy.
Haha I really need that “good luck” for school. When this was the end of the year (of school) I had to do this year all over again so that sucks :’).

Oeh I like romantic comedies too! They’re always so funny lol. Friday I’m going to the cinema with school. We;re going to “Brothers”, I have no idea if that’s a good movie. I don’t even now the gerne.
