Mandaue Run For Life! 2010

Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) annually celebrates Mandaue Business Month (MBM), an affair that highlights the best that Mandaue business has to offer. This year is the 45th founding anniversary, and they are launching and reshaping MBM from Mandaue Business Month to Mandaue Business Movement.

Mandaue “Run For Life” 2010 will raise the curtain for this year’s MBM. Several groups and business organizations will participate in this event and the proceeds shall benefit MCCI’s medical missions and the Dasig Kabataan Foundation.

And who am I not to participate? :) So, last Saturday, I officially took part in this year’s Mandaue Business Movement. Yes, I registered for the run at Dunkin Donuts ℠, along with some friends and other CBS members.

Last day of registration is tomorrow, July 29, 2010. See poster below for more information:

I like running because it’s a challenge.  If you run hard, there’s the pain — and you’ve got to work your way through the pain.  You know, lately it seems all you hear is ‘Don’t overdo it’ and ‘Don’t push yourself.’ Well, I think that’s a lot of bull.  If you push the human body, it will respond.“
