I’m sure everyone’s pretty familiar with the word, cash advance. It is defined as aloan taken out against a line of credit or credit card, typically imposing higher-than-normal interest charges.
Most often, the interest that is charged on this loan is a fixed number of percentage points above the regular rate. Also, there is seldom a grace period in which no interest is charged. These two reasons make cash advance more expensive that many other types of debt financing.
But, why use cash advance when it is said to be expensive?
Well, one thing that comes up to mind is “emergency”. When you use cash advance, you are simply using your credit card to withdraw cash from your account. Thus, you are withdrawing an advance of cash. So, during an emergency, you can easily get money wherever you are. Convenience, that is.
But this money should be really used efficiently because, if not, that’s when the worst usually happens. So, use your money wisely to avoid being drowned by your payables.

Hey! Hey! Look who’s back…. Yes, me!
I know I’ve been “missing in action” for a couple of weeks. First, there was school. Then, there was our educational and “non-educational” tour (the latter includes our appearance at SHOWTIME & the wild rides at Enchanted Kingdom. I’m gonna post the details of that soon enough.) And now, there’s my OJT! Yeah, I have work Monday to Friday, and over 9 hours per day. Exhausting, huh! But it’s not the work that tires me, but the idle moments in between. Now I realized that not having to do something makes people go mad that they start to throw things… Ha ha ha, kidding there.
So, after a week of work, I think it’s best to have fun and relax. Well, my “summer” kind of fun usually includes the beach stuff, but unfortunately I still can’t because the “beach stuff” also includes money situations, and that is disheartening because I am currently wandering in the labyrinth of financial crisis. It’s hard to escape, yes. So, for the meantime, I’m just gonna settle for a movie at home or maybe just a book. It’s still a pretty consolation, you know. I love ‘em both. And I heard that Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Sqeakquel is already available on DVD. You can buy it now. :))
