Tumblr-ing…
Posted by Aimee in Entertainment, Online Stuff on December 9, 2009
oh yeah! I am Tumblr-ing again. It’s been a while, really. My tumblarity had gone zero. But I couldn’t care less about that
Anyway, I was back-reading some posts and I was struck by this:
“Well how about this way. I love that you get cold when it’s seventy one degrees out, I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich, I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts, I love that after I spend a day with you I can still smell your perfume on my clothes and I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Years Eve. I came here tonight because when you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of the life to start as soon as possible.” —When Harry Met Sally (1989)
I’ve seen When Harry Met Sally last week. Yes, it’s a romantic comedy, and I love it. Romantic comedies are adorable. One scene you’ll laugh, then others will make you cry, and you’ll laugh again. And if lucky enough, you’ll realize that the movie is your story. Yeah, maybe someone was following you the whole time and then *poof* they made a movie out of your ordinary life. Ha ha ha! It can be true, you know. *Dream on!*
Actually, I only downloaded this movie because of that last line of the quote. I was fascinated. I think, that line is really true because it’s like love in a nutshell
That when you already found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you truly don’t want to let go… And it’s funny because I have waited for that line the whole time, only to find out that it was only uttered at the last part. Oh man! Save-the-best-for-last was highly justified.
Ha ha ha! La-love much?
Thanks to the one behind this for the share. Well, you can always follow that account, or mine, too
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, I now have a formspring account and I’ve put the widget on my sidebar already :)) Feel free to ask me anything. I am sure to answer. Count on that.

Quotes and Boredom
Posted by Aimee in School, Television on August 19, 2009
It’s Wednesday today. And FYI, we have Philo 2 [or LOGIC] every Wednesday, 1:30-2:30.. Yeah, that’s when boredom attacks, I know. But I don’t want it to engulf me completely. So I tried searching for something interesting (warning: you must understand that we might have a different view of the word..haha). I love words. I love quotes. It amazes me how a million-word emotion, thought, or opinion is expressed in just a couple of lines or phrases…and my cellphone’s so full of those. Ha ha ha! Silly…
I’d love to share some of my favorites that I found on the CP:
- “It’s all about lines. Drawing lines in the sand and praying like hell no one crosses them. At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep people out. They fence you in… Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So you can waste your life drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them.” -Grey’s Anatomy
- “Never behave what your enemy expects. Never attack what your enemy defends. And never show your strength. For knowledge is power, then being unknown is being unconquerable.”
- “I don’t want to date other people. I may not be enough for you but I’m trying here. So I don’t want you to date anybody but me. That’s it. Except I’m scared as hell to want you. But here I am wanting you anyway. And fear means I have something to lose, right?…But I don’t want to lose you.” -Meredith Grey to Derek Shepherd
The third quote was from Season 4 of Grey’s Anatomy, I think
I love it.
Oh! Well, the boredom is striking again at this very hour, might as well indulge myself with this game (thanks to Jorich for sharing this to me). You can also try it. It just needs a bowl of common sense XD All the rules are provided. So help yourself
Woohoo…. I love it! XD
